Description

Amass is a selection of projects by plusClover since its founding in 2001. The subtitle of the book - Pressure, Thickness and Media — are design techniques that offer differing degrees of ‘coherence’ across the projects. These are considered techniques instead of concepts, as their legibility is not the goal. These techniques are deployed in various ways and at different scales depending on the specificity of each project. They are not end games in and of themselves, but are means to an end. The highlighted projects illustrate an accumulation of strategies, techniques and our commitment to building as the main forum of experimentation. Introduction by Albert Pope and essays by Clover Lee.
